Millionaire Mind Intensive

Had another inspiring weekend...

I went to a free 3 day Millionaire Mind Intensive program by T. Harv Eker.

Admittedly, I did not attend the full 3 days as I went to work on Friday, so I only joined Friday evening session, and the Saturday & Sunday session.

The Millionaire Mind Intensive program is very experiential... and after this weekend, I feel I have grown again as a person. I learnt more about my own views about money, and how those views have limited myself, or how things from my past, so many many years ago, has actually affected how I act.

I highly recommend this program to anyone, even bring someone close to you along. My partner and I came to this program, with no expectations. Although... I did think.. if this event was held in the Melbourne Convention Centre, he must be quite good.

Before Friday, we knew nothing about Harv, and we went on Friday night to get a feel of how the course felt like, and to see whether we would like to spend the remaining Saturday and Sunday on it. As you could tell, we stayed for the rest of Saturday and Sunday.

Over this weekend, I feel that my partner and I have grown closer. We had never sat down and really talked about money, and going through this weekend, I now understand more about him, and why we act the way we do. I believe this program is a great way to confront the so called taboo subject that we never talk about.

I also got to talk to many people during the weekend, and met some people who has done Eker's paid courses, and the review has been good.

Again, I did not end up purchasing the program, but I felt that this program seemed more in tune to my style than Wilson Luna's seminar that I talked about previously. However, if you have the chance I think both these seminars are good and free, and you can judge for yourself.

Many seminars have special deals that you can take up if you attend on that day. However, this means you may be making impulse purchases in fear of missing out, which admitted I have done so in the past. Now, my partner and my views are to attend a few seminars, and then you can compare which is right for you, and also find out what is out there in the market. These free seminars do come up at least once a year but usually more frequent. If you happen to miss out the opportunity this time, there's always another chance to take up the offer again... admittedly, perhaps up to 1 year's time.

One of the future seminars that we may be attending is Jeff & Kane's Industry Rockstar which will be in Feb to May 2013, depending which state you are in.

If you stay in Sydney or Brisbane... the Millionaire Mind Intensive program by T. Harv Eker is going to your state in Nov 2012...  Hope you get as much or even more out of it than me ;)..

What got the ball rolling…

Below is an article I have previously published on my wordpress account, but because the below article explains why I am here today... I am re-publishing my article here.

One day (around Aug)… I was on my facebook… and saw an ad on a Free Business Incubator bootcamp, which was over an weekend.
I had just finished my studies for the yr (the exam  is held in Jun each yr), and I had put my whole life on hold (other than work) for this exam. After the many months of just work and study, I took a much needed no studies & rest after work for the next two months.
But I guess.. all the things that I have put on hold will need to be rejuvenated before the end of the year comes along, and my next round of studies begin.
So, I guess, this “Free Business Incubator Bootcamp” was a little nudge for me. I couldn’t remember why exactly I clicked on the ad, maybe because it was free, or maybe it was a bootcamp, and the fact that it was for a full weekend.. so I was a little intrigued. I have attended seminars on & off previously, but not since I moved interstate a yr and a bit ago.
In my previous seminars that i have attended, if it was held over a weekend, there will be many guest speakers, who will share their techniques with you.. but of course, they are also there to entice you to join them, so that they can be your mentors.
The “Free Business Incubator bootcamp” by Wilson Luna was different.
I felt that it changed me fundamentally, beyond just knowing.
Many seminars/speakers will inspire you, but after the talk, you are still you, and you return to your day-to-day life.
The “Free Business Incubator bootcamp” was run by just Wilson Luna himself – no guest speakers, so it was more in-depth. I truly cannot call his seminar a seminar, as it was not like university, where you sit and listen and absorb which is the case for most other speakers.
Wilson Luna’s bootcamp was experiential. He got us up and interacting. I would love to share what he got us doing, but I don’t want to spoil the fun ;) .  However, if you do have a chance to attend one of his bootcamp, I truly recommend it.
In terms of what he shared, I guess it was nothing new – many speakers will have mentioned the same few things that he shared. One of the point that resonated with me the most is to focus on one thing at a time. I guess I try to do so many things at a time, that I did none of them well. Jack of all trade, but master of none.
I did not end up signing up to his program, but that was because I felt the time was not right. I still had another exam to go, and I know that I will be spending the remaining hours after work for my first half of next year, concentrating on it, and will not be able to give his program the attention it deserves, and also whether I wanted my own business & ready for it. As Wilson Luna’s program name describes, it was a business incubator bootcamp, which means that his target audience are business owners or people who wanted to have their own business.
However, after that weekend in the “bootcamp”, I felt the impact beyond it.
My partner and I attended the seminar together, and since the seminar, we have now written down goals that we would like to achieve each week. It has made our week more productive, and us more “together”.
Although it was just a weekend at the Wilson Luna’s business bootcamp, I would like to acknowledge the impact it has on our lives, and that I am grateful for it.

What's Happening in My Life Right NOW?

Of course... other than RIGHT now Right now...

I know I am writing up my post NOW.. But, what I mean, is what is my daily life like...

Like most people my age... I am working at least 9-5 on weekdays.

I am also studying for a professional qualification, which is something additional to my university qualifications.

I am also interested in taking pictures (i.e. Photography) - mainly candid photography...because I feel that it allows me to capture the moment, and able to reflect on it later, and experience what I had experienced before.

Recently, attending seminars has been added to my schedule. Seminars that hopefully add value in my life.. and stretch myself a little further, and to hopefully allow me to earn some passive income....

So, this is how this blog came about. Initially, I had a wordpress blog, but because of its rules that does not allow users to put ads on the blog, I have decided to start a new blog on eblogger.

The wordpress blog was also about my life, including things that happened in my day-to-day life, things that I learn, or trying to achieve...

So.. this is what I wish to write in this blog. There are soooo many things that I am interested in.. I hope that you find them interesting too =)

Welcome to my Blog

A Big Welcome to my Blog =)

Now that you and my life have crossed, even in the slightest way, I do hope that my blog could help you and bring some joy to your life.. even if it is laughing at me.. at least that brought a grin to your face ;).. But even better if you would laugh with me =)
